The NACIS (North American Cartographic Information Society) has put together an 88-page, full-colour volume with 27 works that highlight some of the most well-designed maps in recent years. This book is another link in the chain of many new cartographers concerned with the conveying of complex information and the value of design in the development of maps. With thousands of maps being created every year, this book will be invaluable in helping to make maps a better communication tool in the future.
