Did anyone notice how many maps were being used during the election? I was watching the coverage of the election on NBC and noticed that, at almost any point during the night, there was a map of the US being shown. The election also provided people with a reason to be creating maps and data visualizations in the run up. The Sociable has reviewed a number of these apps and visualizations, calling this election “the web’s most interactive, real time, Presidential Election ever”, and it seems so!
