This set of maps comes from the New York Times and features maps of voting patterns in the run up to the US Presidential Election. The interactive tool displays eight maps which visualize different scenarios, and the option to create your own scenarios. The tool uses a simple “prev” and “next” button with associated numbered scenarios, and animates the change between scenarios fluidly. The tool looks quite complex, but features javascript, jquery and Raphael elements among many others.
