This map, from Christopher Manza and D’arcy McGovern from The Globe and Mail, shows how housing prices in Toronto have changed in the past year. The trends are shown as a choropleth with blue related to an percent increase in housing price, and red as a decrease. Associated with the map is a pie chart showing the proportion of neighbourhoods within the various category breaks along with a list of all neighbourhoods by name. Users can also choose other periods of time to visualize, going back to 2008. The tool was created using a leaflet interface, with data from Realosophy and the Toronto Real Estate Board.
